Dangote Peugeot Automobiles Nigeria Limited (DPAN) has began the assembling cars in Kaduna, Nigeria.

 

DPAN will produce the 301, Land Trek, 3008, 5008 and the 508 at the newly built Green Field Assembly Plant in Kaduna.

 

DPAN is jointly owned by Dangote Industries Limited, the Kaduna and Kebbi States Govt as well as the Stellantis Group.

 

In addition to the DPAN car assembly plant in Kaduna, Dangote also has Dangote-Sinotruk Truck Assembly Plant in Lagos.

 

 

 

The $100 million Dangote-Sinotruk Truck Assembly Plant in Ikeja has also began churning out trucks.

 

Some of which were recently purchased by the Lagos State Government for LAWMA.

 

The CKD [Complete Knock Down] factory currently has the capacity to produce 10,000 trucks annually.

Dangote Peugeot Automobiles Nigeria Limited (DPAN) has finally commenced the assembly of Peugeot brand of vehicles at its newly built Green Field Assembly Plant in Kaduna.

 

The assembly of locally-made fastselling Peugeot lineup of vehicles comes nearly four years after joint owners Dangote Group received approval from the Nigerian regulator.

The newly built Green Field Assembly Plant, which can assemble 120 vehicles per day across two shifts, will produce the 301, Landtrek, 3008, 5008 and the new 508.

 

“This dream has started with the re-launch of the Peugeot brand in Nigeria as well as the local assembly of the 301 at our new Kaduna plant and thereafter the introduction of the Landtrek, 3008, 5008 and the new 508.”
